Matthew Boyle was born on January 20, 1970, in Seattle, Washington. He graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1993 with degrees in economics and Iberian Peninsular languages. Matthew received his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of Law, and was admitted to the California Bar in 1998.
